The Ion Technologies Subscribe service is one of the externally hosted applications that Network Operators can connect to using the Aepona Universal Service Platform.

Subscribe is a leading opt-in direct marketing platform. Ion Technologies retains a broad customer base of blue chip organisations for the Subscribe platform and in partnership with Aepona, has added a Click>Talk>Sell capability to its email delivery capability.

Enterprises that use Subscribe can now give their target customers the ability to click a link and have a call centre agent call them with details of the offer. The call can be free for the target customer, and gives the enterprise has the opportunity to rapidly close the sale.

The Subscribe service has a proven track record of improving the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. By using opt-in mechanisms, marketing content can be targeted at those people who are most likely to be responsive to the sales propositions and special offers described.

Importantly, campaign effectiveness can be monitored and reviewed, with statistics such as the number of emails resulting in a call, and subsequently a sale, being readily available to the enterprise.

Operators can include Subscribe with its embedded Click>Talk>Sell feature as part of a package of Enterprise services enabled by Aepona's Universal Service Platform. A number of business models are possible from the operators' perspective, such as managed service, generation of high-value calls, and external or internal hosting of the service.
