Aepona Service Broker
The Aepona Service Broker is a unique product that fulfils several critical roles in current and next-generation networks. Within current-generation networks, Service Broker provides a service interaction capability allowing multiple services to be invoked from the same IN trigger, solving an age-old problem that prevents network operators from creating flexible service bundles that can be matched closely to subscribers' exact needs.
The same problem of IN trigger conflicts also prevents many value-added services from being offered to pre-paid customers. The Service Broker also fulfils the functions of both the IM-SSF and SCIM within the IMS architecture: in the former case, Service Broker allows services developed within current-generation networks to be carried forward into IMS networks without having to re-create the services within the IMS: in the latter case, Service Broker allows the creation of rich, composite services that fully leverage the powerful capabilities provided within the IMS.
