Agile Service Enablement (ASE) is a component of Aepona’s API Monetization Platform (AMP) allowing the rapid creation of API services, composed from the Service Provider’s own core network services (such as voice, messaging, payments and location) as well as services from external providers (such as mapping/geocoding, social networking and enterprise back-end services).
As well as coming with out-of-the-box network API services, (including standards-based OneAPI and RCS APIs) ASE gives Service Providers the freedom to quickly and easily create new custom API services, variants of existing services and mash-ups. This is easily achieved using the tools provided with ASE, meaning that new API services can be created within a very short space of time (a few hours or days rather than weeks or months).
Service Providers can therefore expose, monetize and manage any network, IT or asset that they own, allowing them to create a broad range of innovative, differentiated API services.
ASE’s comprehensive network abstraction layer enables Service Providers to expose a broad set of capabilities across multiple network elements such as voice switches, messaging platforms, location servers and bandwidth controllers, allowing them to exploit their full range of network assets. ASE also provides policy enforcement to ensure protection of the Service Provider’s resources and adherence to partner SLAs.
