Aepona Causeway™ Integrated with Hewlett Packard’s Comprehensive Service Delivery Platform

Aepona has established a global partnership with HP to deliver joint solutions that allow network operators and their partners to roll out new pre-integrated solutions to an ever more demanding subscriber base.

The partnership allows Hewlett Packard’s Service Delivery Platform (HP SDP) to take advantage of the Aepona Causeway Carrier-Network Operating System. The HP SDP is a central and secure service development and deployment framework for network operators. It enables them to drive down the cost and risk of introducing new services, thereby reducing time to revenue. Aepona Causeway integration makes the platform even more optimized for heterogeneous network environments.

Aepona Causeway integration gives the HP SDP best of breed network access and enablement, allowing operators to fully integrate their new and legacy investments in telecommunications software and infrastructure with the comprehensive feature set of the HP SDP solution. The Service Delivery Platform provides comprehensive policy, security, service level agreement, partner management, service registry and provisioning capabilities. Now, with Aepona Causeway, the SDP will integrate with a host of carrier network services via Causeway’s OSA-Parlay and Parlay-X compliant application programming interface and integration agents. Combined with Hewlett Packard and Aepona’s extensive implementation experience in the telecommunications sector, the HP SDP will become one of the most open, secure and integrated solutions available to operators worldwide.
