Mobile World Congress 2012

The past year has gone so quickly, it’s hard to believe that Mobile World Congress is now only weeks away.  Our team is busy making final preparations for the event, which is lining up to be our best ever! We will be there in force at our booth in Hall 7, Stand E44.

Our main theme for this year’s show is “Monetizing Cloud+Network Services”.  We will be showing how Service Providers globally use Aepona’s solutions to expose, manage and monetize their core assets as cloud-based APIs, opening up new revenue opportunities by adding network value to cloud services.

As in past years, the Mobile Star Awards program showcases “best of” entries in dozens of categories covering including mobile apps, wireless network solutions, enterprise mobile software, enterprise success stories, technology visionaries, and more.

Why operators need to look beyond app stores to make money from apps

Apps are financially benefiting developers and in Apple’s case, the device maker, but where does this leave operators with branded app stores which – although a source of some revenue – languish behind the platform app stores?
